Development of the Ideja doma portal – The largest platform for architecture and interior design enthusiasts in Croatia and the region

Our approach to developing the Ideja Doma portal is based on detailed analysis and collaboration with the client to create a solution that precisely meets their needs. Through several phases, from the initial workshop to implementation, we ensured that each step was aligned with the project’s goals. Incremental development allowed us to continuously test and optimize functionalities, delivering a portal that is easy to manage and provides an exceptional user experience.

The first step was conducting a workshop with the client, where we defined the exact requirements and wishes for the portal. Together with the client, we analyzed their existing processes to ensure the portal would be as functional and useful as possible for all community members.


After the workshop, we proceeded with the design phase, aligning it closely with the client’s preferences. We paid special attention to usability and visual appeal to ensure the portal was intuitive and modern.

For the backend, we developed custom functionalities that enable efficient administration and content management, providing the client with an easy-to-use tool for updating the portal. Additionally, we implemented an ad management system, integrated an advanced SEO module that automatically generates meta tags, and set up integration with the newsletter.


After the design implementation, the portal was set up on a test domain. To ensure quality and functionality, we opted for incremental delivery. This meant that we divided the development into several phases, with each phase including the implementation of new features, testing, and evaluation. This approach allowed for the quick identification of potential issues and their timely resolution.

Throughout each phase, the portal was tested under real conditions, with the aim of ensuring that all functionalities, including the ad management system, SEO module, and newsletter integration, worked flawlessly. The evaluation after each phase was crucial for optimizing the user experience and ensuring maximum efficiency.

After all functionalities went through testing and final evaluation, the portal was officially transferred to the main domain and went live on February 6, 2025.


The portal was officially launched on February 6, 2025, with a special event where Ideja doma presented the next phase of its development. Since then, the platform has become a central hub for interior enthusiasts, architects, designers, and creatives across the region.
